Juicy nut cake without flour

A quick cake that is moist, tasty for the whole family and easy to prepare belongs in every personal recipe collection, right?

Ingredients

Ingredients for a springform pan approx. 22-24 cm
6 eggs
175g sugar
1 pack of vanilla sugar
400 g ground hazelnuts

2 teaspoons of baking soda
2 tbsp rum
1 pack of chocolate icing (200 g)
nB Hazelnut brittle, chocolate chips

Instructions

Grease a springform pan (a form with a silicone rim is ideal) of approx. 22-24 cm well and cover the bottom with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees O/U heat.
Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until very foamy (see tips).

Mix in the nuts, baking powder and rum. Pour the cake batter into the springform pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes. Do a stick test.
Let cool in the tin for about an hour, then remove and let cool completely on a wire rack. This takes at least 4 hours.
