Ingredients
Garlic Pizza Sauce Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoon butter unsalted
- 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1¼ cup whole milk
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 3 cloves of garlic very finely chopped (3 tsps of jarred minced garlic)
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
Pizza Ingredients:
- 1 pizza crust homemade or store bought
- 8 oz low moisture mozzarella cheese grated
- ½ cup parmisan garlic sauce (recipe above)
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese grated
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
Garnish:
- 2 tablespoon fresh basil chiffonade
Instructions
Garlic Pizza Sauce Instructions:

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.

Whisk in flour. Continue whisking for about 2 minutes. Do not brown.

Slowly whisk in milk. Whisk continually until the mixture is smooth, thick and bubbly, about 3-5 minutes.

Add ¼ teaspoon sea salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper and 3 cloves of finely chopped garlic. Whisk to combine.

Add parmesan cheese. Whisk until just melted. Remove from heat.

Allow to cool before using or cover and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
