Soft potato rolls: the recipe for soft sourdough products with potatoes in the dough

The soft potato rolls are very soft and delicious sourdough products that are perfect for breakfast and as a snack for adults and children with a sweet filling of hazelnut cream or jam. Unlike classic homemade sandwiches,
in this recipe we also add boiled potatoes to the mixture of water, flour, brewer’s yeast, sugar, butter, milk and eggs. After the fermentation phase, we formed small balls from the dough that we had to bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
At the end of cooking, we spread the potato rolls with a mixture of melted butter and honey. If you prefer to enjoy potato rolls with a savory filling, you can omit the honey.
