Sloppy Joe Pie

Pour the sloppy joe mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the 2 cups of shredded cheese on top of the sloppy joe mixture.
Add the Bisquick mix, onion powder, kosher salt, and cracked black pepper to a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk to combine.
Stir in the whole milk, beaten egg, and 1 cup of shredded cheese.
Evenly spread the Bisquick mixture over the shredded cheese layer. Bake for 40 minutes or until the topping is golden. Serve while hot.

Notes

For an even quicker cooking time, you can prepare the ground beef and onion mixture ahead of time and keep it in the fridge for up to two days before adding to the pan with the sauce.
You can also bake this dish in a 9×9 or 8×8 baking dish.
You can use a 10-inch cast-iron skillet to cook the ground beef mixture in and bake the pie in.
