QUARK CAKE FROM THE TRAY

For today’s quark cake I used my small tray again. The cake can also be baked in a springform pan (26 cm) or, if you use twice the amount of all ingredients, in a drip pan.

The raisins can easily be replaced with tangerines, peaches or sour cherries. Drain these fruits well, spread them over the base and pour the curd mixture over them.

Ingredients for the base:

80g butter
80g sugar
1 egg
160g flour

1/2 bag of baking powder, sifted
Mix all ingredients into a dough. Grease a deep tray (22 x 30 cm), line it with baking paper and distribute the dough evenly.
