Ingredients:
90g butter
1 large egg or 2 small eggs
The zest of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 lemon
130g of sugar
5g vanilla sugar
A pinch of turmeric powder
250g of flour
8g of baking powder
100 g caster sugar (for icing)
Instructions:
To preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Prepare the dough:
In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg(s) and beat well until well combined.
Stir in the lemon zest and lemon juice.
