Apple pie with yogurt cream, melts in your mouth! Simple and very tasty!

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

Preheat the oven to 170°C.
Start by preparing the dough. Mix the flour with baking powder, butter, a pinch of salt, egg yolks and sugar in a large bowl until you get a smooth, homogeneous mixture.
Place the dough in a 20 cm diameter mold, making sure it covers the bottom evenly.

Apple layer:
Wash, peel and slice the apples.
Spread the apple slices evenly over the batter in the pan.
Sprinkle the apples with 40 grams of sugar and sprinkle with lemon juice to improve the taste.
Cream Souffle:
In another bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Then gradually add 40 grams of sugar and vanilla sugar with constant mixing.
Mix the plain yogurt and cornstarch into the egg white and sugar mixture, making sure everything is well combined and smooth.
Preparation and baking:
Pour the prepared souffle cream over the apples in the mold.
Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the top of the cake is golden brown and the cream is firm.
When the pie is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool before serving.
