ZEBRA CAKE

This is a super simple cake to make. The stripes make it so pretty that your children will jump on it! Indeed, my children’s first reaction was “wowwww”. Then there was a second reaction “ummmm that’s so good”. So I can assure you that this zebra cake will be a hit at snack time!

It’s a cake in which I added Fiord yogurt. You can easily replace it with Greek yogurt or natural yogurt. The yogurt makes the cake look a little more airy and therefore less compact.

280 g of flour
4 eggs
100 g of blond sugar (or brown sugar)
60 g of sugar
1 pot of Fiord yogurt (or Greek or plain)

1 packet of vanilla sugar
1 packet of yeast
100g dark chocolate
100 g of oil
50g butter​
4 tbsp of milk
2 tbsp of cocoa

PREPARATION OF THE RECIPE

In a bowl, beat the sugar with the eggs for at least 5 minutes. The mixture should triple in volume.

Pour in the yogurt, oil, melted butter and 3 tablespoons of milk while the mixer is running.

Add the sifted flour and yeast then mix with a mixer. You should obtain a smooth and shiny paste.
