Although not very attractive in appearance, these rolls are really full of flavor and aroma… while you bake them, the whole house will smell of hazelnuts and oranges… a real winter atmosphere 😉 If you are not fasting, I definitely recommend that you make these rolls with butter instead of margarine…
Required ingredients:
For shortcrust pastry:
-200 g of roasted ground hazelnuts
-500 g of soft flour
-1 bag of baking powder
-120 g of powdered sugar
-2 bags of vanilla sugar
-250 g of margarine (lean)
-2 dl of squeezed orange juice
-finely grated zest 2 oranges
For coating:
– Jam as desired or a filling of about 130 g of ground hazelnuts + a spoonful of jam + 1 spoonful of powdered sugar + a little squeezed orange juice
For sprinkling:
powdered sugar
