ULTRA SOFT YOGURT CAKE

For me, yogurt cake, like Breton pound cake or English pound cake and Maghreb mouskoutchou, is a great classic that is really very practical. The plain version is as good as the many variations that can be made with it.

If you like simple, moist, inexpensive cakes without butter, you absolutely have to learn how to make yogurt cake.

It’s a grandmother’s recipe, very popular with young and old.

This is my favorite basic cake for many reasons:

it is very simple to do and easy to succeed,

Easy to remember, No need for a scale to measure the ingredients (we use the yogurt pot), it is very soft and economical.

can be presented in a thousand and one ways. We start from this basic recipe, after, β€œthe sky is the limit!” The variations that can be made are unlimited!

Ingredients :

1 Yogurt
3 Eggs
2 Pots of sugar
3 Pots of flour
1 sachet Yeast
