STRAWBERRY-VANILLA DUMP CAKE

When the weather gets warm and strawberries are in season, this strawberry-vanilla dump cake is a great way to embrace fruit-flavored desserts instead of relying on chocolate. You layer crumbly vanilla cake mix on top of sweet strawberry pie filling, and cook it all in the Crock-Pot until the cake is moist, fluffy and rich with strawberry flavor. As a garnish, you can top the cake with fresh, sliced strawberries.
Most baked desserts require many different ingredients and long baking times. However, the recipe below uses fewer than five ingredients, and nearly all of the preparation takes place in the slow cooker, making cleanup simple.
