Sausages in puff pastry

Ingredients

METT
500 gr
ONION, FINELY CHOPPED
2 tbsp

GARLIC, CHOPPED
1 clove
SALT
1 1/4 tsp

BLACK PEPPER
1/2 tsp
CAYENNE
1/8 tsp

ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp DRIED
THYME
1/4 tsp

FRESH SAGE, CHOPPED
1 tbsp
breadcrumbs
1 tbsp puff

pastry
1 roll
of egg yolk, beaten
1
sesame seed (OPTIONAL)

preparation

Preheat oven to 190°C. Lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.

Step 1
In a bowl, mix meat with onion, garlic, salt and pepper, all spices and breadcrumbs.

Step 2
Make 2 sausages, making sure to wet your hands slightly so they don’t stick. Place the two sausage mixture in the refrigerator for 10-20 minutes.

Step 3
Roll out the puff pastry and cut into two rectangles the size of the sausage mixture. You can put them in the fridge for a few minutes to make them easier to process. Now place the sausage mixture on one side of the dough. Begin folding the dough over the meat filling.

Step 4
Brush the edges of the dough with egg yolk and roll out until finished.
