How to prepare sausages and beans

Take the sausages, pierce them with a knife and then fry them in a pan with oil and garlic.

Once browned, add the tomato puree and the already cooked cannellini beans along with sage, a pinch of salt and pepper.
Cook over low heat for about 30 minutes: it is important that the sauce shrinks slightly.
The sausage and beans all’uccelletto, a typical Tuscan dish, is ready.

In our recipe we have used pre-cooked beans , but you can also use dried beans : soak them in water for at least 8 hours; after this time, bring to the boil together with the herbs and finally cook them with the tomato puree and the sausages.
