Then return it to the floured work surface. Knead it briefly, shape it into an oval and place it in a lightly floured loaf pan (23 × 12 cm). Cover and let it rise for about 60 minutes until it has significantly increased in volume.
In the meantime, preheat the oven to 180° degrees. Then bake the bread for about 35 minutes until it is golden brown. Remove immediately from the tin and let cool on a cake rack.
