Salmon scallops with lemon are a tasty and fragrant second course, perfect for a family lunch or a dinner with guests organized without much notice. Seafood alternative to the classic meat recipe. They are prepared in just a few minutes using only fresh salmon, lemon, flour, garlic and extra virgin olive oil.
In our recipe, the fish steaks are dipped in flour, then fried in a non-stick pan with sautéed garlic and oil and then covered with a lid, cooked with filtered lemon juice, 1/2 glass of water, a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper : in this way, the heat creates a delicious sauce with citrus notes that makes the fillets even tastier. Once ready, you can serve the scallops with slices of rye bread and a portion of mixed salad or accompany them with gratinated vegetables or crispy baked potatoes .
We finished the dish with a handful of chopped parsley , but if you prefer, you can replace it with peeled thyme, dill or chopped chives. In addition to fresh salmon, you can also use frozen salmon.
It is important that you let the dough thaw gradually in the fridge before flouring it and then gently pat it dry with a sheet of absorbent kitchen paper: this will remove all the residual moisture and the end result will be fragrant and juicy to the bite.
