Raisin Bread Recipe

1. Sift the flour into a large bowl and create a well in the center. Add sugar, a pinch of salt, and dry yeast into the well.

2. Gently warm the lukewarm milk and pour it into the well. Let it sit until the yeast forms bubbles.

3. Add the egg and softened butter. Knead into a smooth dough.

4. Incorporate the raisins into the dough and knead until evenly distributed.

5. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.

6. Knead the risen dough again and form it into 4 equal balls.

7. Place the balls staggered in the greased loaf pan, cover, and let rise for another 1 hour.

8. Brush the raisin bread with a mixture of beaten egg yolk and milk, and sprinkle with almonds and pearl sugar.

9. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake the bread for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

10. Remove from the pan after baking and cool on a wire rack. Lightly dust with powdered sugar.
