The Paradise Bun is a delicious dessert consisting of a soft biscuit dough, richly filled with a luscious milk cream. It is a roll-shaped reinterpretation of classic packaged snacks and is perfect for serving at the end of a meal or for placing on a festive buffet for a special occasion.
The preparation is very simple: we start with the biscuit, which we get by mixing the egg yolks with flour, oil, milk, vanilla extract and baking powder, then we mix the mixture obtained with the egg whites and beat them with the sugar until stiff. To get a perfect result, it is important to respect the cooking times (which must not exceed 15 minutes) and to roll up the freshly baked base quickly so that it is soft and elastic once it has cooled.
This is then covered with plenty of whipped cream and condensed milk, rolled up again and wrapped in cling film and left to condense in the fridge for a few hours. The result is an exquisite cylinder that melts in the mouth, dusted with a barely noticeable layer of icing sugar and can also be enjoyed for breakfast with friends or as a delicious snack .
The recipe requires few precautions : first of all, remember to mix all the ingredients gently from bottom to top so that the dough does not “burst”; we also recommend covering the bun with sugar just before serving so that it is not absorbed during the resting period in the refrigerator.
