Ingredients
500 g cream
130g sugar
5 sheets of gelatin
1 vanilla bean
Topping
300g strawberries
70g sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
Scrape out the pulp of the vanilla pod.
Put the cream, sugar, vanilla pulp and pod in a pot and let it simmer gently for about 5 minutes and remove the pot from the heat so that the liquid cools down a little.
The gelatine is soaked in cold water for about 5 minutes.
Squeeze out the gelatine well and dissolve it in the hot cream mixture. Divide the mixture into 4 molds and chill for at least 5 hours (preferably overnight).
For the topping, the strawberries are pureed with sugar and lemon juice. Also refrigerate until serving.
