Lent Recipe – Kale and Lentil Pan Pie – Simple and quick, tasty and aromatic

preparation:

Rinse the lentils well, then transfer to a bowl. Cover with water and leave to soak for 3 hours.
Put the cabbage and chopped onion in a bowl. Add salt to taste, mix well and set aside for 10 minutes.
Drain the water well from the lentils and puree with a vertical blender. Place a paper towel on top of the onion and cabbage mixture, press to remove more of the liquid.
Place the onion and cabbage mixture over the lentil puree. Add the parsley leaves, flour, turmeric, cumin seeds, ginger and grated garlic, pepper to taste and mix very well.

Heat a little olive oil in a pan and add the prepared composition. Level and cook under the lid and on medium heat for 5-7 minutes.

We turn the pie on the other side, with the help of a plate, and cook for a few more minutes.
