Lemon Poppy Seed Almond Biscotti

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 whole lemons, zested and juiced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 cup whole blanched almonds
  • 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
  • 3 teaspoons lemon juice

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together. Next, wish in the poppy seeds.
