Ladyfingers and apple dessert: simple and impressive

Ingredients

Puff pastry roll

Lemon juice

apricot jam
160 g (1 Cup)

How to prepare a ladyfinger apple dessert
Preheat the oven to 190°C. Peel the apples and cut into thick slices.
Step 1
Place the apple slices, lemon juice and sugar in a pan and heat over medium heat.

Cook the apple slices for 5 minutes, then let them cool.

Cut the puff pastry into 10×15 cm rectangles. Place 2 biscuits on each dough square.

Brush the sides of each puff pastry rectangle with egg yolk.

Put the jam in a piping bag and pipe it onto the cookies.

Spread the apples on the jam.

Fold the puff pastry by bringing the edges to the center.

Press the edges down to seal the dough.

Brush the edges of the dough with egg.

Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
