Kremsnita: a soft and airy vanilla cake that you will fall in love with!

Kremšnita is a layer cake similar to millefeuille with vanilla cream and whipped cream, popular in some Central European countries. Very easy to make and super delicious, it’s a must!

INGREDIENTS

2 rectangles of puff pastry
8 tablespoons of powdered sugar
1 cup of whipped cream
For mixture no. 1
10 egg yolks
2½ cups flour
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons vanilla sugar
¾ cup milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
For mixture no. 2
5 cups of milk
5 cups of water
3 tablespoons of vanilla sugar
2 tablespoons of rum
For mixture no. 3
10 egg whites
1 cup icing sugar
