Jam filled cupcakes

Jam filled cupcakes are a delicious combination of soft sponge cake and a juicy, sweet center. The jam adds a fruity note that harmonizes perfectly with the sweetness of the cupcake. They are an irresistible temptation for every dessert lover.

Ingredients

For the cupcakes:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter at room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
For the filling and decoration:
Jam with the flavour of your choice
1 cup icing sugar (powdered sugar)
1/2 cup butter at room temperature
1-2 tablespoons milk
Food coloring (optional)
Additional decorations (optional)
