IRISH CREAM CAKE

This soft, tender Irish Cream Cake and its frosting are wonderfully delicious and simple to make!

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE CAKE:
1 & 1/2 cups (180g) cake flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened

1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
2 large eggs
3 tablespoons (45ml) Irish cream liqueur
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
1/2 cup (118ml) milk

FOR THE FROSTING:
3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, softened
2 & 1/2 cups (275g) confectioners’ sugar, sifted (Use up to 3 cups if you like your frosting sweeter.)
3 tablespoons (45ml) Irish cream liqueur
1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
chocolate sprinkles, chocolate curls, etc. for garnish
