If you have a few eggs and a little chocolate, make this cake – Cake with only 2 ingredients – Simple and quick, simply irresistible

preparation:

Preheat the oven to 160C. Grease an 18 cm round cake tin with butter, line the bottom with baking paper. Also grease the baking paper and set aside.

Chop the chocolate, place in a heatproof bowl. Place the bowl over the bain-marie and melt completely.
Remove the bowl from the heat and allow to cool slightly.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form.
Add the egg yolks, one at a time, to the chocolate and mix until smooth.

Fold 1/3 of the egg whites into the chocolate mixture, then repeat two more times.

Pour the composition into the prepared form and bake for 30 minutes.

Leave to cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
Note:
• For a more airy cake, add another egg white.
• If the cake is too bitter, you can add a few spoons of white/brown sugar.
• Store the cake at room temperature for up to 5 days.
