I created this coconut cake because I am a fan of this coconut chocolate composition!

This cake reminds me of a giant bounty but much less sweet. I would even say that the texture has nothing to do with it. Indeed, this cake is both dense and slightly moist. To add a little fondant and deliciousness, I soaked the cake in sweetened coconut milk.

So I can assure you that the texture is crazy! Not to mention that the chocolate literally melts in your mouth, a pure marvel.

This recipe is super simple and quick to make. On the other hand, you will have to wait a good 50 minutes of cooking.

2 eggs
130g Greek yogurt (about a small pot )
160 g of sugar
180 g coconut milk
115 g of flour

30 g of cornstarch
120 g grated coconut
½ packet of yeast
50 g of sunflower oil
1 tsp liquid vanilla

soak
120 g coconut milk
30 g of sugar
1 tsp liquid vanilla

Icing
200g dark chocolate
4 tbsp sunflower oil

Decoration
1 a little grated coconut

PREPARATION OF THE RECIPE

Cake

Preheat your oven to 165°c.

Whisk the eggs with the sugar for 5 minutes.

Add the yogurt, vanilla and coconut milk.

Pour in the flour, yeast and grated coconut. You should get a nice dough.

Add the oil.
