How to prepare the apple heart cake

METHOD

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, vanilla extract, sugar, milk and melted butter. Sift together flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Pour into the baking tin and bake for 50 minutes at 170 °C (340 °F).


In another bowl, combine egg yolks, water and vanilla extract, mix with condensed milk and cook over low heat until the mixture begins to thicken.

In another bowl, mix softened butter with cocoa powder and add the prepared mixture. Divide the cake into three layers, spread each layer with sugar syrup and prepared cream. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
Cover with apricot jam and place chopped cake pieces around the edge
