Homemade white chocolate

PREPARATION

In a saucepan, boil the sugar with the water for about 10 minutes, until a syrup is obtained.

Add the butter, vanilla flavor and bourbon vanilla sugar, mixing well until smooth.

We gradually incorporate the milk powder into the mixture, making sure that no lumps remain.
Finally, add a mix of nuts (hazelnuts, cashews and coarsely chopped almonds) and candied orange peel, mixing well for even distribution.

We pour the composition into a tray lined with baking paper and sprinkle the browned almond flakes on top.
We leave the tray in the cold, preferably overnight, to strengthen the composition.

After it has hardened, we portion according to preference, either in bars or cubes
