Grandma’s Homemade Cake

Preheat the oven to 150°C.
In a bowl, beat the eggs, then add the sugar, yogurt, oil and lemon zest.
In another bowl, mix the flour and baking powder. Gradually add them to the wet mixture while beating until you obtain a smooth dough.

Butter and flour a mold. Pour the dough into it. For a better rising effect, let the dough rest for about 15 minutes before baking.

Bake. The cake is ready when a toothpick inserted comes out clean. (Note: baking time may vary depending on your oven)

Let cool before unmolding. To make unmolding easier, you can gently run a knife along the edges.
If desired, sprinkle with icing sugar for decoration before serving.
It’s a simple cake, but its flavor and texture are a wonderful revelation every time.
