Gigantic sooo delicious, potato meatballs filled with cheese

preparation

1. Here’s how to do it: Boil 1 potato for about 15 minutes, rinse, peel and press through a potato ricer.

2. Now peel the onion and garlic, dice finely and sauté in butter. Then cut the feta cheese into eight pieces.

3. Next, add the eggs, potato starch, onion and garlic cubes to the potatoes, knead well and season with salt, pepper and thyme.

Now form eight meatballs from the mixture, press a piece of feta cheese into the middle of each one and cover it well with the potato mixture. Now heat the oil in a pan and fry the potato meatballs on both sides until golden brown.

Then serve with a mixed salad, cucumber or green bean salad or braised cherry tomatoes.
Our tip: Depending on your taste, the feta cheese can also be replaced with goat cheese, Camembert or mountain cheese.
