Decadent dream with cherry chocolate

Directions:

Mix together the crushed cookies, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.

Bake for 5 minutes and then let cool.
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla until smooth.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Stir in the melted chocolate and pour over the prepared base.
Bake for 50-60 minutes. Turn off the oven and open the oven door slightly to allow the cheesecake to cool slowly.

When cool, run a knife around the edges and let it cool to room temperature. Let it rest for a few hours or overnight.
Spread the cherry filling on top, concentrating especially in the center.
Whip the cream, powdered sugar and vanilla to stiff peaks and pipe it on the cheesecake
