Coffee biscuits: The recipe for delicious biscuits with an intoxicating scent

The coffee biscuits are fragrant and sweets with an unmistakable aroma, perfect to dip in milk to start the day well or to enjoy as a snack for a tasty and invigorating break.
They are quick and easy to prepare with a shortcrust pastry based on butter, eggs, sugar, flour and bitter cocoa powder, enriched with  to be enjoyed at the end of an evening in the company of friends. Ending meal , dissolved in 2 tablespoons of espresso.
Once it is ready and left to rest for at least half an hour to make it easier to shape, all you have to do is make lots of “meatballs” out of it. Oval and slightly flattened, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and then bake at 170°C for about twenty minutes: the result is delicious shortcrust biscuits that fill the whole house with their beguiling scent and taste excellent also as a cheerful instant coffee
To give the cookies the classic shape of roasted coffee beans , we have drawn on the surface, adding a kind of “S” before baking them. When they open during cooking, they simulate the crack in the wheat, but if you want, you can also have fun preparing them at home with the little ones, wrapping them in the most varied shapes as you like.
These delicious pastries are so good that they are eaten in no time. For this reason, we recommend that you prepare plenty of them: if well stored in a special tin, they will remain crumbly and aromatic for a long time and can also be given in a bag as a welcome gift to guests.
