Coconut Caramel Chocolate Upside Down Cake

This situation right here is amazing! A moist upside down chocolate cake with a rich dark caramel and sweetened coconut flakes! The best part? It’s baked in a skillet!

Ingredients

For the topping

1 ⁄2 cup 1 stick Unsalted butter
3 ⁄4 cup Light brown sugar packed
2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
2 cups Sweetened flaked coconut

For the cake

3 ⁄4 cup All-purpose flour spooned then leveled
6 tablespoons Unsweetened Dutch process cocoa powder
3 ⁄4 teaspoon Baking soda
1 ⁄4 teaspoon Salt
½ cup 1 stick Unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup Granulated sugar
2 Large eggs
2 1/4 teaspoons Vanilla extract
2 ⁄3 cup Whole milk
