Christmas cheesecake

Ingredients :

For the crust:
– 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
– 1/3 cup white sugar
– 6 tablespoons butter, melted

For the filling:
– 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
– 1 1/4 cups white sugar
– 1/2 cup sour cream
– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
– 4 large eggs

For the cranberry jam layer:
– 2 cups fresh cranberries
– 1/2 cup white sugar
– 1/2 cup orange juice
– Zest of 1 orange

Preparation :

1. Start by making the crust. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Place in the refrigerator to cool while you prepare the filling.
2. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).

3. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 1 1/4 cups sugar until smooth. Stir in sour cream and vanilla extract. Add the eggs one at a time and beat until well combined. Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the bottom of the springform pan.
