CASTELLA CAKE

Ingredients:

4 large eggs, at room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Line a rectangular baking pan (about 9×5 inches) with parchment paper.
Prepare the Eggs:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs until they become frothy and slightly pale in color.
Add Sugar Gradually:
Gradually add the granulated sugar to the beaten eggs while continuing to beat. Beat until the mixture becomes thick and pale, and the sugar is well incorporated.

Sift the Flour:
Sift the all-purpose flour into the egg and sugar mixture in small batches. Gently fold the flour into the batter using a spatula. Do not overmix; just fold until no flour streaks remain.
