CAKE BY THE METER

The recipe for this cheap and generous cake is from the book “Yugoslavenski kolaci” from 1987.

Ingredients

Dough
25 dag flour
20 dag sugar
4 eggs
2 tablespoons cocoa
1.5 dl oil
1.5 dl water
1 baking powder
Cream
25 dag powdered sugar
25 dag margarine
3 dl milk
1 vanilla pudding
Other
1 rib of cooking chocolate

Preparation Line

two large oven-sized pans with baking paper and turn on the oven at 180°C.
Mix egg yolks, water and sugar sponge cake, adding oil, flour with baking powder and egg white snow.
Pour half of the dough into one pan, and mix cocoa into the other half and pour into the other pan.
Bake the biscuits at 180°C and during this time cook the pudding, cool it down and mix the foamed butter with powdered sugar.
Cut the baked dough into strips and fill with the filling. Coat the sides of the cake in the same way and sprinkle with grated chocolate.
Stack the black strips over the yellow ones.
Cut the cake diagonally.
