BASBOUSA: An amazing Arabic semolina cake that you must try

Ingredients

The standard cup is 250 ml.
– 1 cup of sugar
– 1 cup of flour
– 1 cup of coconut flour
– 1 cup of oil
– 1 cup of milk or yogurt
– 1 cup of semolina
– 1 bag each of baking powder and vanilla sugar
– 3 pcs. eggs
Syrup
– 2 cups of sugar
– 1 cup of water
– 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, orange or rose water

Preparation

Beat eggs with sugar and add other ingredients. Pour into a tray lined with baking paper. Bake at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, boil sugar and water syrup until it starts to boil, then add lemon juice and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
