Baked Cauliflower with Creamy Sauce

Instructions:

Cook the cauliflower over low heat with the lemon slices, green vegetables and salt for about 5 minutes.
Prepare the vegetables:
Cut the peppers and carrots into pieces.
In a pan, heat the vegetable oil and add the peppers, carrots, dry paprika powder, salt and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender.
Prepare the creamy sauce:
In another pan, melt the butter and fry the chopped onion until golden.
Add flour and mix well. Gradually pour in the cream, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
Season with salt, black pepper, nutmeg and lemon zest. Add the egg yolks and mix well.
Assemble and bake:
Preheat the oven to 200°C (350°F).
Place the cooked cauliflower in a heatproof bowl and pour the prepared sauce over it.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the cauliflower.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
Serve:
Serve the baked cauliflower with a creamy sauce straight from the oven, with the cooked vegetables.
