Apple pie with cream cinnamon topping recipe

Finish the cake (topping 2):
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly.
In the meantime, beat the cream with vanilla sugar until stiff.
Carefully spread the cream over the cooled cake and dust with cinnamon.

To serve:
Allow cake to cool completely before removing from pan.
To serve, cut into pieces and enjoy.

NOTES
for 1 springform or fruit cake tin with a diameter of 26 cm.

For an extra crispy crust, lightly brush the dough base with egg white before topping with apple slices.

If you like, you can partially replace the apple juice for the filling with Calvados to give the cake a special touch.
