Apple pie with apple sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

 

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat and grease your springform pan.

In a bowl, beat the butter, sugar, salt and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Then add the eggs one at a time and beat each one in well.

Mix the baking powder and flour and add the dry ingredients to the dough along with the apple sauce and milk. Season everything with cinnamon and a little Amaretto if desired.

Fill the dough into your mold.

Peel and core the apples, halve them and cut them into thin slices.

Distribute these on the cake. I placed them in 3 rows on the cake. Sprinkle the almond flakes on top.

Bake the cake for about 20-25 minutes.

Let it cool down a bit, dust it with powdered sugar and serve it with cream and/or vanilla ice cream as desired.
