Air Fryer Steak with Compound Butter

1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
2. Rub both sides of the steaks with olive oil and season generously with salt and black pepper.
3. Place the steaks in the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through.
4. While the steaks are cooking, prepare the compound butter. In a bowl, combine softened unsalted butter, minced garlic, fresh parsley, fresh rosemary, fresh thyme, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
5. Once the steaks are done, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
6. Serve the steaks with a generous dollop of compound butter on top.
