Air Fryer Donuts: How to Make Them Fluffy and Delicious!

Store the donuts in an airtight container and store them at room temperature for up to two days.

Ingredients

Lukewarm water
130 ml (1/2 cup)
Milk
130 ml (1/2 cup)
Egg

Dry yeast

40g (2 2/5 tbsp)

Flour
500g (4 cups)
Butter
50g (1/4 tasse)
Lemon zest
Orange zest
Sugar
Melted butter

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine warm water, milk, sugar and yeast.
Step 1
Add the egg, orange zest and lemon zest while continuing to mix. Gradually add the flour and continue mixing. Continue to beat with the dough hooks for 4 minutes.
2nd step
Knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a clean bowl, cover and let rise for two hours.
Step 3
Remove the dough from the bowl and place it on a floured surface.
Step 4
Roll out the dough, then cut out circles using a large cookie cutter.
Step 5
Use a small bottle cap to cut out circles from the center.
Step 6
Place each of the donuts on a small square of parchment paper, cover with plastic wrap and leave to rest for 40 minutes.
Step 7
Carefully place the donuts (with the parchment paper) in the Airfryer basket.
Step 8
Fry the donuts at 200°C (400°F) for 8 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
Step 9
Spread melted butter on each donut.
