Ingredients :
For the dough:
150 g flour
150 g sugar
150 g butter, melted
4 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
For the filling:
4 ripe pears
100 g chocolate (dark or whole milk), chopped
2 tablespoons sugar
Juice of half a lemon
2 tablespoons water
For the garnish (optional):
Powdered sugar for dusting
Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
Directions :
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a round baking pan (approx. 24 cm in diameter) and dust it with flour.
Peel the pears, halve them and remove the core. Slice the pears thinly and sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent tarnishing.
Carefully melt the chopped chocolate over a water bath or in the microwave and set aside.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until fluffy. Then add the melted butter and vanilla extract and mix well.
