Fanta cake with sour cream and tangerines

Whether at children’s birthdays, parties, coffee chats with friends or as a Sunday cake for the family – this Fanta cake with sour cream and tangerines is an all-rounder that is delicious and easy to prepare – definitely try it out!

Ingredients

Dough
200g sugar​
300g flour ​
1 pack of baking powder
4 eggs
200 ml orange soda (e.g. Fanta)
150g butter​
1 pinch of salt

Topping
500 g sour cream
500 g cream
3 packs of cream stiffener
50g sugar​
3 cans of tangerines (175 g drained weight each)
2 packs of vanilla sugar
3 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees O/U and grease a deep baking tray well. To make the lightning batter, put flour, butter, sugar, eggs, salt, Fanta and baking powder in a bowl and prepare a hand mixer or food processor.
Now mix the ingredients for the dough vigorously and quickly to form a viscous dough and place it in the prepared tray.

Spread evenly and bake in the preheated oven until golden, about 25 minutes.
The Fanta cake must now cool completely. This takes about 2 hours and towards the end of the cooling time you start making the cream. To do this, stir the sour cream with vanilla sugar and 25 g sugar until smooth. Beat the cream until stiff and stir into the sour cream.
