Homemade cocoa wafers

Homemade cocoa wafers with roasted nuts. Quick to make and super tasty. Perfect for a cup of tea in autumn.

It is best to make the waffles at least a day in advance so that they have time to soften and cut nicely. It is worth weighing the top down with something to make the wafers even the next day, as the wafers may deform during soaking.

You can add e.g. hazelnuts, walnuts or finely chopped favorite dried fruit. In this recipe, you can enrich the cocoa mass with various ingredients.

Homemade cocoa wafers are a delicious, simple and quick dessert. A few simple ingredients and the waffles are ready. With lots of cocoa and nuts, the wafers are very aromatic and not too sweet.

HOMEMADE COCOA WAFERS

INGREDIENTS FOR COCOA MASS:

250 g butter
3/4 cup brown or regular sugar
3 tablespoons of cocoa
1/3 cup of milk
1 cup of milk powder
1/2 teaspoon of rum flavoring
