Homemade Nutter Butter Cookies

Soft peanut butter cookies filled with luscious peanut butter cream — these Homemade Nutter Butter cookies are even better than the original!

Ingredients

Cookie Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 cup unsalted sweet cream butter softened
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar to roll the dough in

Peanut Butter Filling:

1/4 cup unsalted sweet cream butter softened

1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 Tablespoons whole milk
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
