Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 whole lemons, zested and juiced
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 cup whole blanched almonds
- 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
- 3 teaspoons lemon juice

Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together. Next, wish in the poppy seeds.
