Ingredients: Homemade Pudding
- 1 liter of whole milk
- 200 grams of sugar
- 100 grams of cornstarch
- 4 egg yolks
- Vanilla essence to taste
- Cinnamon powder (optional)
- Liquid candy (for the mold)
Preparation Mode: Homemade Pudding
Step 1: Prepare the base mix
- In a large pot, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
- Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, mix the egg yolks with the sugar and cornstarch until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- Once the milk is hot, remove it from the heat and add the mixture of yolks, sugar and cornstarch. Stir well to integrate all the ingredients.
- Place the pot back on the heat and cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon to prevent lumps from forming. Continue cooking until the mixture thickens and has the desired consistency.
- Remove the mixture from the heat and add the vanilla essence to taste, mixing well.
