Colomba tiramisu is a quick and easy dessert, ideal for making the classic Easter colomba even more delicious or for recycling leftovers in the days following the festive season. This is a variation of the traditional tiramisu: the ladyfingers are replaced here by soft layers of colomba, which alternate with a delicate mascarpone cream flavored with Strega liqueur.
The result is a fresh and irresistible dessert, perfect as a gift for friends and relatives at the end of Easter or Easter Monday lunch. The aroma of coffee and liqueur enhances the pleasantly sweet taste of the Colomba base, for an original result that is ready in just a few minutes .
To bring it to the table, simply mix the eggs with the mascarpone, the sugar and the liqueur until you get a light, frothy and velvety cream. Cut the colomba into slices, lightly soak them with coffee and Strega syrup and start forming the layers in a single larger baking dish.
Sprinkle the surface with bitter cocoa powder and, after a short rest in the fridge, enjoy it in all its glory. If you want, you can also assemble small individual portions in ceramic cocottes or glass glasses for a touch of elegance.
