Daily Oatmeal Zucchini Casserole: A Family Favorite, Better Than Pizza

Ingredients

1 zucchini, thinly sliced
​​Salt, to taste
3-4 tablespoons oatmeal
100 g grated cheese (e.g. mozzarella or cheddar)
2 eggs
Pepper to taste
Chives, chopped
Olive oil (for greasing)
Optional: toppings of choice (such as tomato slices, bell peppers or mushrooms)

Instructions

To prepare the zucchini:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (360°F).
Grease a baking dish with olive oil to prevent sticking.
Spread the thinly sliced ​​zucchini evenly over the bottom of the baking dish. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
Adding the oatmeal layer:
Sprinkle the oats evenly over the zucchini layer in the baking dish.
